During recruitment, PNMs meet with two Recruitment Counselors, or RCs. Recruitment Counselors are Panhellenic members who temporarily disaffiliate from their chapter, meaning the RCs hide their chapter affiliation by removing any information relating to their chapter on social media, do not wear any chapter related merchandise, and go through training to ensure they are equipped to help PNMs in the best way possible.
Recruitment Counselors are there to support PNMs throughout the recruitment process and are willing to help PNMs make the best decision for them. RCs do weekly check-ups with PNMs in the weeks before PPR to ensure that any questions or concerns a PNM may have gets answered. During PPR, PNMs will meet with their RCs after each day to discuss the day’s events and then help the PNM preference each chapter. RCs are an awesome resource for PNMs to turn to before, during and after PPR. Their number one goal is to help PNMs have a great PPR experience!
