About Us

Alpha Epsilon Delta is the national health preprofessional honor society founded in 2015 at Carnegie Mellon University. We are dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in preprofessional health scholarship. This co-ed fraternity welcomes students engaged in the pursuit of a professional development, provides a forum for students with common interests, and extends a program of service to benefit the university as well as the community. AED functions both as an honor society and a service organization. AED helps guide students into being physicians of integrity with lifelong commitment to guiding principles of philanthropy, and education through mentoring, fellowship, service, and formal training.
