Semester Highlights

The semester began with a Resume Workshop led by Professor Haleigh Bartos, refining our resume-writing skills for the jobs in government and foriegn policy. We then engaged in a thought-provoking Roundtable Event with Professor Ignacio Arana, discussing the historical intricacies of the 1973 Chilean Coup. Earlier this month, Ambassador Derek Mitchell's captivating guest lecture provided valuable insights into international relations, inspiring us to consider our role in global affairs. These experiences enriched our academic journey, fostering critical thinking and global awareness, thanks to the guidance of our esteemed faculty and guest speakers. We anticipate organizing similar events in the future. Your feedback on our events is super valuable, so please take a moment to fill out our feedback form.

The Carnegie Mellon University Chapter of the Alexander Hamilton Society is a student-run organization that is a part of a larger organization of students, faculty, national policy leaders, and captains of finance and industry. The society seeks to develop the next generation of American leaders, initially through discussions and forums on campus, then to intellectual and professional development that will launch Hamiltonians into careers of public service, academia, and business.
