Tri Delta DHOP and Sisterhood Retreat

Tri Delta raised $1,215 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through DHOP (Delta House of Pancakes).
The chapter also held their annual sisterhood retreat at Camp Guyasuta’s Challenge Rope course on October 28. Here’s a couple photos from retreat!

MGC at Taiwanese Student Association Culture Night

alpha Kappa Delta Phi, Kappa Phi Lambda, and Lambda Phi Epsilon participated in the Taiwanese Student Association (TSA) Culture Night on November 4! All three Multicultural Greek Council groups performed unique cultural displays including dance, stepping, and strolling.

Alpha Sigma Phi hosts Family Feud

Alpha Sigma Phi is excited to share an event that brought the organization closer to the heart of the fraternity - “Family Feud Night.” The family feud brotherhood event not only offered an enjoyable and competitive atmosphere but also served as an educational experience for the new members of the chapter. In this game, the new members had the opportunity to learn about the fraternity's stories past and the values that guide the organization. The brothers feel it was a great success and a fun event for everyone involved!

Phi Delta Theta celebrates 10 years at CMU

Phi Delta Theta celebrated its momentous 10th-anniversary reunion, spanning from Thursday, October 26, 2023, to Sunday, October 29, 2023. The festivities commenced with an exhilarating Pittsburgh Penguins game on Thursday night, followed by a Friday lunch by our esteemed private chef, Charles Smith, who has been an integral part of our fraternity since its inception.

The highlight of the weekend, Saturday unfolded with a grand gathering at Hofbrauhaus, where brothers and alumni alike came together to share a meal and reflect on the cherished moments within the Phi Delta Theta brotherhood. The pinnacle of the evening was the presentation of the Founders Trophy to the chapter's inaugural president, culminating with a heartfelt toast to the enduring spirit of Phi Delta Theta.

This weekend held profound significance for the chapter, serving as a heartfelt expression of gratitude to the alumni who played pivotal roles in laying the foundation of the chapter. Their alumni contributions are the bedrock upon which the fraternity stands today, and the chapter sought to commemorate a decade of legacy with a special celebration.

Beyond the nostalgic reflections, this reunion served as a unique opportunity for current brothers to forge connections with the esteemed alumni, initiating the establishment of a robust and enduring alumni network. The overarching goal of this reunion was to rekindle the sense of belonging among our alumni, fostering a lasting connection that extends well beyond their graduation. The 10-year milestone signifies not just a commemoration but the rejuvenation of relationships that are destined to endure a lifetime.

Scottie Sound Bath

Scottie Sound Bath is offered as a Group-X class every Thursday 1:30-2:20 p.m. in Keeler Studio starting October 26, 2023.

It’s called a sound bath because you lie down, relax, and immerse yourself in sound. Also referred to as vibroacoustic therapy, it’s a full-body listening experience that allows you to experience sound in a visceral way. Conducted by trained musicians, the Scottie Sound Bath lasts 50 minutes and utilizes vibrations from quartz crystal “singing bowls” to induce deep relaxation. Our musicians will also treat you to short instrumental solos at the end of each session. We hope that you’ll leave with mental peace, emotional balance, and calm focus.

Register for a Scottie Sound Bath class!
