Roundtable Event

Join AHS for a roundtable speaker event featuring CMIST Professor Ignacio Arana. We will delve into the historical intricacies of the 1973 Chilean Coup, and explore the ongoing debate surrounding US involvement and its aftermath, particularly poignant as 2023 marked its 50th anniversary.

Posner Hall 146

Post Spring Break Events

Looking ahead the Alexander Hamilton Society will be offering speaker events on Chat GPT and Disinformation, Human Rights, and Diversity in Foreign Services. Speakers will include Ambassador Derek Mitchell, Professor Don Holmes, and Beth Jameson.

The Carnegie Mellon University Chapter of the Alexander Hamilton Society is a student-run organization that is a part of a larger organization of students, faculty, national policy leaders, and captains of finance and industry. The society seeks to develop the next generation of American leaders, initially through discussions and forums on campus, then to intellectual and professional development that will launch Hamiltonians into careers of public service, academia, and business.
