About Us

The Tartan is a student-run weekly newspaper serving the Carnegie Mellon University community, a student organization dedicated to informing students about affairs and opinions relevant to them, and a forum for opinions from the university community. Members of The Tartan meet weekly on Mondays in UC 314 at 5 p.m. to discuss content for the upcoming week for our various sections, including News, Forum, SciTech, Sports, and Pillbox (The Tartan's Art & Culture magazine).
