Mission
CMU Street Styles, est. 2003 as the International Freestylers, is Carnegie Mellon University’s student organization dedicated to teaching and engaging in street dance and hip hop culture. Street Styles strives to bring the knowledge and love of street dance and hip hop culture to as many members of the CMU and broader Pittsburgh dance community as possible. Members of this organization will regularly practice their chosen dance styles, perform for their peers to showcase their progress, and support one another in- and outside of dance.
