Info Session and Team Formation for the Space Innovation Challenge

The Space Innovation Challenge is an interdisciplinary case competition created in the spirit of bringing together the brightest science, engineering, business, and policy minds across Carnegie Mellon University so as to solve a pressing issue faced by industry on the final frontier.

The case prompt will go live on Friday, November 1st, and you'll have all one week to brainstorm and hack on a space-themed business problem for the weekend. The competition will commence on Friday, November 8th, with team presentations being made to a panel of industry experts on Saturday, November 9th.

Students from the Tepper School of Business, the Heinz College of Public Policy, the School of Computer Science, and the College of Engineering are all invited to join us in this competition. We encourage team formation and cross-collaboration across different schools on campus. Students may form teams of 4 on their own. Just as well, individual students interested in participating may register independently, and the STARS club will try to pair them with other interested CMU students.

Registration is currently open, and will close on Thursday, October 31st at 11:59 PM EST. All entrants must first complete the individual registration (URL in Flyer).
