Mission Connecting CMU students with defense, aerospace, robotics, and dual-use tech through HQ visits, guest speakers, projects, and treks.DART (Defense • Aerospace • Robotics • Tech) is a student club that helps CMU students explore careers and technologies in defense, aerospace, robotics, and dual-use industries. We connect students with local companies through HQ visits and guest speakers, and we run treks, workshops, and case competitions. Everyone is welcome to join. No industry knowledge is necessary.

We focus on real contact with employers and hands-on learning.Our missionAll roles, all functions: Show the range of careers across product, business development, finance, operations, strategy, venture, entrepreneurship, and more.Technology education: Build practical understanding of areas like autonomy and robotics, aerospace and space systems, defense platforms, satellites and sensing, and dual-use software.Cross-campus engagement: Partner with the College of Engineering, the Robotics Institute, and SCS to turn technical strength into real projects and recruiting outcomes.
