About Us

Lunar Gala began in 1997 at Carnegie Mellon University to celebrate the Chinese New Year and has evolved into a highly anticipated fashion production inspired by the Zodiac Animal of the Lunar Calendar. The organization intends to act as a cross-disciplinary opportunity for individuals across the Carnegie Mellon campus to develop skills ranging from clothing design, branding, communications, public relations, show production, teamwork, and more.
