About Us

Hi Infriends! We're Infra, CMU's only intermediate/advanced contemporary dance group. While contemporary is our main focus, our dance styles also include ballet, jazz, tap, and heels. If you love to dance, you should come join us! Whether you are an undergraduate, master's student, or PhD, all students are welcome to join. We're essentially a big family, and are always looking to have new dancers come join us. Our weekly meetings consist of rehearsals & open classes, culminating in an end-of-year showcase during April. Additionally, we perform in Dancers' Symposium each semester and Lunar Gala, CMU's annual fashion show. Auditions are typically held during the second week of September for Fall Semester and during the third week of January for Spring Semester. Whether it be at our performances, open classes, or auditions, we hope to see you soon!
