[GEC + MCC] Immigration for Entreprenuers

Calling all international students who are interested in startups and entrepreneurship! This is the event for you. We are bringing in Dentons to talk about all the important information you might need in your endeavors to find the ideal startup to join or in your quest to start your own company.

Dentons, the world’s largest global law firm, in partnership with the Tepper School of Business, invites you to attend a presentation about immigration for entrepreneurs, followed immediately by in-person legal services office hours, covering all phases of formation, technology financing, immigration, operations, and strategic partnerships.

Dentons lawyers David Kalson and Drew Behnke will share what students with an F-1 Visa (who can legally start businesses and work on a startup team) must be mindful of to preserve their student visa status and the business and immigration planning considerations for future visa status. Whether you need to figure out your visa status ASAP or you’re simply planning ahead, their presentation will help you focus on what’s most important -  your startup.

Partners from Dentons’ Corporate and Venture Technology practices will join David and Drew for office hours immediately following the presentation to help answer questions about beginning the entrepreneurship journey.
