Details

VCIC is the premier Venture Capital competition for MBA/graduate students. Student teams role-play as VCs evaluating 3 real startups that are raising venture funding. Over 48 hours, students conduct due diligence, interview the startups, and submit term sheets for the startup they choose to invest in. The teams are judged by a panel of real VCs and the team with the best process and most compelling investment rationale is selected as the winner.

The GEC hosts CMU's local VCIC round at the Tepper School of Business. Winners receive a cash prize and advance to the Regionals.

1st place: $1500 (Advance to regional round)
2nd place: $600

Registration is limited to 36 participants in 6 teams of 6. Registration will be first come first serve. The link to form teams or register as a free agent, along with the required NDA form, will be provided later in an email.
