VCIC is the premier Venture Capital competition for MBA/graduate students. Student teams role-play as VCs evaluating 3 real startups that are raising venture funding. Over 48 hours, students conduct due diligence, interview the startups, and submit term sheets for the startup they choose to invest in. The teams are judged by a panel of real VCs and the team with the best process and most compelling investment rationale is selected as the winner.

The GEC hosts CMU's local VCIC round at the Tepper School of Business (note, it will be conducted remotely over zoom this year). Winners will advance to the regional competition against Yale, Cornell, and Northwestern, hosted at Dartmouth Tuck.

The Global Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC), hosted by UNC Kenan-Flagler, allows teams from top business schools to play the role of venture capitalists as real startups pitch to them. Winners of the regional competitions will advance to the global final.

Registration is limited to 30 participants in 5 teams of 6. Registration will be first come first serve.
