Join us for an exciting hour of discussion and banter with two of Tepper's Entrepreneurial Alumni. Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA and Sydney, Australia, Grant Vandenbussche and Brad Gyngell are passionate entrepreneurs who recently pursued two very different business types: Hard Tech and SaaS Entrepreneurship.

We asked Grant and Brad to write each other's Bios and got decidedly confusing backgrounds....but in all seriousness, both speakers have been involved in the founding of 10+ companies between them and have incredible insights on the challenges and successes of Hard Tech (Vertical Farming) and SaaS (Construction Software). Grant recently held a leading role in a prominent vertical farming startup that raised over 100M and is currently the Director of Bimbo Bakerie's venture arm. Brad worked in consulting for BCG after graduation and now runs a Construction SaaS company in Australia between surf sessions in Bondi.

Grant: He began his career with guest roles on television and small roles in films such as The Dark Knight Rises (2012) and The Expendables 3 (2014) before making his breakthrough performance as Chad Radwell in the Fox comedy-horror series Scream Queens (2015-2016). He has since starred as Finnegan in the coming-of-age comedy Everybody Wants Some!! (2016), astronaut John Glenn in the drama Hidden Figures (2016), Charlie Young in Set It Up (2018) and Lieutenant Jake "Hangman" Seresin in Top Gun: Maverick (2022). Twister and Anyone But You, where he co-starred along with Sydney Sweeney.

Brad: He played the roles of Josh Taylor in the Australian soap opera Neighbours and Marcus in the children's television series The Elephant Princess. In American films, he starred as Will Blakelee in The Last Song (2010), as Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games film series (2012–2015), and as Jake Morrison in Independence Day: Resurgence (2016).

His newest production, Hevi, is about a desolate Australian miner who becomes lost in the vast Australian wilderness and has to rely on a particularly fickle AI assistant to bring him home to safety.
