About Us
The Foundations in Understanding Neuroscience (FUN) Club is meant to serve as a means for members to learn about neuroscience research, methods and goals. This will be achieved primarily through bimonthly journal club sessions. Journal club series highlighting diversity in science will be included. The club will also host invited guest speakers to discuss neuroscience research and initiatives. On occasion, we will reach out to local Pittsburgh organizations to coordinate outreach events for neuroscience education, particularly for underrepresented minorities. Other sessions focused on academic and professional development related to neuroscience endeavours may be held, such as resume critiques or research/career peer support.
