Mission
Film Club's mission is to bring cinema to the Carnegie Mellon community in order to create a space for open and constructive dialogue surrounding film and its topics, as well as increase a spirit of film appreciation in the student body. We aim to showcase underrepresented minorities in hopes of exposing audiences to and educating them about experiences and cultures that aren't often shown on the big screen. Foci include women directors, queer directors, cult films, documentaries, and international cinema. Screenings will be followed by moderated discussions.
