[ECTC] Site Visit to EIC

Visit Pittsburgh’s Energy Innovation Center (EIC), a hub for energy innovation and startup incubation, bringing together clean energy companies, research organizations, educational institutions, and emerging technologies under one roof.

We’ll tour the facility and hear directly from several companies working out of the EIC. Exus Renewables North America develops, owns, and operates utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects; Sensible Photonics develops fiber-optic sensing technology to monitor transformers, energy storage systems, and other critical grid assets; and CorePower Magnetics develops advanced magnetic materials and components for power electronics, electrification, and grid applications.

The visit will provide an opportunity to explore Pittsburgh’s clean-energy startup ecosystem, learn about several different areas of the energy transition, and ask company representatives about their technologies, commercialization strategies, and career opportunities.

A $5 deposit is required and will be fully refunded upon attendance. The facility is accessible by public transit. The visit starts at 9:00am - please arrive 15 minutes early.
