Cosplay@CMU is dedicated to the art, culture, and community of making costumes from various fan franchises. Cosplay ("costume + play") got its start from Japanese anime, but it's become widely popular with fans of video games, Western Animation, TV shows, movies, and more! We meet twice a month to brainstorm, draft, and create our costumes for various conventions held throughout the year. Our goal is to introduce more people to this immersive hands-on experience, so we're happy to welcome newcomers aboard!
This year, we want to enable our members to make the best cosplay possible-- that means less "fluff" during our meetings and more work time so you can make whatever you want to create. We'll be aiming for Katsucon, held in February, so we have 6 months of hard work to go!
