Website Mission
Mission Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) was established in 1971 as a non-profit professional organization and has grown to over 6,000 registered members with ~ 70 Local Chapter and Branches, ~30 Affiliated Professional Societies, and 13 Technical Groups across the United States. The organization's objectives are:- Promoting the application of science and technology for the general welfare of society- Foster international cooperation especially between the U.S. and Korea- Help Korean-American Scientists and Engineers develop their full career potentialKSEA has set up multiple satellite campus groups across the nation, namely universities with a sizeable Korean-American student population. The establishment of KSEA at CMU will allow for a national organization to back those at CMU who identify with these goals and create this safe space. The group will meet to push forward these objectives and encourage collaboration and progression for Korean-American Scientists and Engineers.
