Mission The Carnegie Mellon Computational Biology Undergraduate Society (CMU-CBUS) is committed to bringing computational biology majors and students interested in computational biology together in a welcoming and active community through academic and social events. CMU-CBUS will organize events to showcase computational biology research at CMU and beyond, plan socials to foster connections between computational biology students and faculty, and support students in attending computational biology conferences (e.g. ISMB). CMU-CBUS will maintain a close relationship with Carnegie Mellon University's Ray and Stephanie Lane Computational Biology Department, and serve as a liaison between CB students and department.All activities and functions of the organization must be permitted by University Policy and legal under local, state, and federal laws.
