UCLA - Anderson 2026 Fink Credit Pitch Competition - Registration Deadline

The one-day event includes opportunities for students and firms to network and participate in recruiting activities in addition to the competition.

This is the premier competition for any MBAs interested in pursuing a career in credit research. All teams will have an opportunity to hone their craft, receive valuable feedback from the judges, and compete to take home a portion of the $6,000 prize pool split across the top 3 teams.

Who Should Apply: Teams should consist of 3-4 MBA students, with a majority of the students being first-years. We encourage diverse teams, and require that at least one team member be a woman.

What: Teams will be pitching one credit or credit-based security to a panel of distinguished judges. Last year’s participating firms included: BlackRock, Capital Group, Columbia Threadneedle, DoubleLine, Oaktree, PIMCO, Sagard | HalseyPoint, TCW, and Western Asset. Student resumes will be distributed to participating firms.

Application Deadline: 11:59 PM PT on October 16th, 2026.
Competition Date: November 6th, 2026 – A detailed agenda will be provided closer to the event.
