TepperCARES Volunteers at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank

TepperCARES has an exciting volunteer opportunity with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank on Nov 7, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm for up to 10 volunteers.

Anyone wishing to volunteer must register by the sign-up deadline of 10/28/2026 12:00 PM. A Pitt Food Bank registration link will be sent to you to sign up and complete a waiver after registering on the link below.

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early. When you arrive, please report to a Food Bank staff member. They will get you checked in and provide further instructions onsite. Drive-up distributions occur outside, rain or shine. Please dress for the weather.
Activity: Drive-up Distribution - Assist with loading the trunks of vehicles with loose grocery items, directing traffic or registering vehicles within the distribution line.
Requirements: Closed-toe shoes are required. Volunteers should be able to lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly for this activity. This activity will occur outdoors, rain or shine.
