UVA - Darden at Virginia Investing Challenge (DVIC) stock pitch competition

We are excited to announce that Darden Capital Management will be hosting the 14th Annual Darden at Virginia Investing Challenge (DVIC) on Thursday, November 6th, 2025. This premier stock pitch competition brings together top MBA programs from across the country to compete for cash prizes and recognition, as part of the 18th Annual University of Virginia Investing Conference (UVIC). 

DVIC participants are also invited to attend UVIC programming, including the networking reception and dinner on the evening of November 6th. Last year, the competition featured teams from eight top-tier business schools, and we look forward to maintaining and exceeding that level of excellence again this year. 

Tentative Schedule: 
- Wednesday, November 5th – Arrival in Charlottesville, VA 
- Thursday, November 6th – Lunch, DVIC Competition (preliminary & final rounds), networking reception, and UVIC dinner event 
- Friday, November 7th – Departure from Charlottesville 

Please confirm your RSVP by registering for the UVA Competition registration event on TartanConnect by September 16th.

A couple of things to highlight: 
- The investment pitch team should consist of 3 students (Either all 1st years or two 1st years and one 2nd year)
- Additional details including the theme, deck formatting, structure, and lodging confirmations will be shared on October 6th
- Pitch decks are due by October 22nd
- Hotel Accommodations are included
- There is a dinner reception on Thursday night after the competition, please confirm if your team can attend and if there are any dietary restrictions
