This collaborative, hands-on kimchi-making workshop invites you to step away from the classroom and into a shared, creative experience rooted in Korean food culture. Co-hosted by ABA, GBA International Student Experience, and the BECI program, this session is designed to be interactive, social, and genuinely fun.

As a participant, you’ll learn the basics of kimchi-making, get your hands a little messy, and leave with your own container of kimchi to take home. More than that, this is a chance to slow down, decompress, and connect with classmates through shared making, a simple but powerful way to build community during a busy academic week. Many students find this kind of hands-on cultural activity to be surprisingly stress-relieving, offering a reset in the middle of the semester.

Asia Week is a week-long celebration of culture, community, and connection, hosted by the Asian Business Association. Through student-led storytelling, hands-on cultural workshops, shared meals, interactive activities, local outings, and a flagship Lunar New Year Gala, Asia Week invites the Tepper School community to experience Asia through lived perspectives and meaningful moments of connection.
Food Provided (You get to make and bring home your own kimchi! Vegan options available.)
