About Us

The mission of ABLE CMU is to provide an environment where Carnegie Mellon students with all types of disabilities (physical, sensory, cognitive, emotional) can meet and connect with each other, providing a social outlet for students facing unique challenges. ABLE CMU also strives to represent and advocate for the interests and well being of students with disabilities. ABLE CMU is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for Carnegie Mellon students of all backgrounds. We are committed to recognizing the intersectionality of other identities with challenges of disability and chronic illness.
